What If It Rains On Our Wedding Day?
In the event of inclement weather, and with discretion of the couple, the ceremony may be held inside with guests seated at their respective tables. The Dell-Lea offers the flexibility to wait out the rain or begin earlier in order to work around the weather. We can even make this important decision up to 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. We do all we can to make your special day flawless!
Reception
Our historic venue has seen many uses throughout its 230 years. Enjoy a picturesque, rustic barn wedding in the heart of northern New England without worrying about accessibility or comfort. Recent renovations ensure that our guests enjoy the most modern conveniences, such as heat and air conditioning, while preserving the post-and-beam structure and historic nature of the building. The Dell-Lea boasts a bar constructed in-part with original timbers and beams, 20-foot ceilings, elegant sashes, a private wedding suite, a large dance floor, a veranda overlooking the outside reception area, handicap-accessible entrances, large restrooms, a coat room, and ample parking.

5 hour reception for dinner and dancing (additional hour for on-site ceremony)

We will break down and clean up the venue. You are responsible for your decorations, and can decide to either take them with you that night or pick them up in the morning.

Extensive Menu Options
We prepare all of our delicious menu items
on-site and use only the freshest,
highest-quality ingredients to ensure complete satisfaction. If you have a special dish request that you don’t see on our menu, we will work in advance with our experienced chefs to fulfill your needs. We offer generous portions served plated or buffet-style with carving station options. With only one function per day, the Dell-Lea facility and staff are focused on providing the best possible experience for you and your guests.
Day of Coordinator
When you choose to have your wedding at Dell-Lea, you will have the benefit of working with our seasoned day-of wedding coordinator whose sole focus is to make sure that your special day runs seamlessly.
Six to eight weeks prior to your wedding, you and your coordinator will meet to discuss the details of the plan for your big day. We will assist with ceremony rehearsals the Thursday before your wedding to assure that you, your wedding party, and officiant are comfortable with the sequencing and flow of the ceremony. In addition, a Dell-Lea staff member will be present to offer assistance and guidance while you are setting up your decorations.

Our goal is to make your day as stress-free as possible. We want to save you time, effort, and money, which is why we offer affordable decoration rental options. We have a large variety of decorations to fit all styles and budgets, saving you the time, additional costs, and hassle of having to source wedding decor on your own.
